If you're coming from the southern end of Valley Stream near the Hewlett border, it can be as quick as 5 minutes.
Public transit works well too. The Valley Stream LIRR station connects to the Hewlett station — it's a short ride on the Long Island Rail Road, and the academy is a quick walk from the Hewlett stop. If you're driving, there's free street parking on Broadway and the surrounding streets.
Most of our Valley Stream members train in the evening sessions, which start at 5 PM with beginner-friendly intro classes and run through 8:15 PM with all-levels sessions. Lunchtime classes at 12:30 PM are a great option if you work from home or have a flexible schedule. Weekends offer Saturday and Sunday sessions for additional mat time.
