5 Minutes from Cedarhurst to the Mat
Lucid Jiu Jitsu is at 1439 Broadway in Hewlett, just east of the Cedarhurst border. From central Cedarhurst — near the shops on Cedarhurst Avenue — head east on W Broadway or take Peninsula Boulevard to Broadway. The drive is 5 to 7 minutes depending on traffic, and you'll find us on the south side of Broadway in Hewlett.
The Cedarhurst LIRR station is two stops from Hewlett on the Far Rockaway branch, making it easy to get here by train as well. There's ample free street parking on Broadway and side streets, especially during evening class hours when most students train.
Our class schedule is designed for working professionals and families. Lunchtime classes run at 12:30 PM, beginner-friendly intro sessions at 5 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and our main evening classes run from 6 PM through 8:15 PM. Saturday and Sunday sessions offer additional training opportunities on the weekend.

Adult & Kids Programs for Cedarhurst Residents
Our adult jiu jitsu program welcomes students of every experience level — from complete beginners to seasoned competitors. Training covers both gi and no-gi disciplines, with dedicated beginner sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 PM so new students can build a solid foundation before jumping into the general classes. The kids jiu jitsu program is built for ages 7 through 14 and runs four evenings per week plus Sunday mornings.
